The Letter’s Orbit
ترحالٌ في آفاق الحروف الخمسة الأُوَل من الأبجدية العربية: من الألف وألفتها وأثرها وارتقائها، والباء من البيت والبِرّ والبحر، والجيم في الجَمَال والجبل والجنة، والدال في الدلالات والدار والدوران، و نختم في الهاء، ذات العينين اللواتي تقطران خشوعاً وزهداً في مقامه هو، هو الله، الهادي، الظاهر، القهار، الوهاب، الذي بنور كلماته وحروفه تشع الأكوان، وتطوف بأنامل الإنسان الخمس في خمسة حروف، مكونة ستمائة وخمسة وعشرين حرفاً في كل عمل في حركة مستمرة دائرية ضمن منظومة بصرية تربيعية، يمدها الحرف بالطاقة والنُّور.
A voyage in the horizons of the first five letters of the Arabic alphabet: from the Alif, its intimacy, impact, and ascent. And the Baa, of the house, the land, and the sea. The Jim in the beauty, the mountains, and the paradise. And the Dal, the signifier of connotations and rotations. Lastly, the Haa, the dual eyes that drip reverence and renunciation to his Maqam, for Him, Allah, the Guide, the Apparent, the Omnipotent, the Bestower, who with the light of His words and letters radiate the universes, and circumambulate the Five fingers and senses of man in five letters, forming Six Hundred and Twenty-five letters in each artwork in a continuous circular movement within a quadratic visual system.
