The Jordanian Premier League Trophy: A Monument to Heritage
Since its inception in 1944, the Jordanian Premier League has stood as one of the most storied football competitions in the Arab world. For eight decades, the league’s champions have pursued a title that represents the pinnacle of athletic discipline. Now, after years of meticulous research and conceptual development, we are proud to unveil a trophy that finally mirrors the profound legacy and future aspirations of the Kingdom.

Lineup of trophies for the Jordanian Premier League since 1944 until 2018

The Conceptual Foundation
The design process was driven by a desire to translate Jordan's historical DNA into a physical form. The trophy’s silhouette is guided by three pillars of identity:
- The Root (The Olive Tree): We began with the olive tree—a sacred symbol of resilience and peace in Jordan. The trophy’s base reflects this vital root, symbolizing a foundation that is deeply embedded in the land and grows upward toward victory.
- The Path (Nabataean Artistry): Inspired by our ancestors, the Nabataeans, the body of the trophy pays homage to their "radical" state of mind. We integrated the 45° etched stone-tooling marks unique to Nabataean architecture—a metaphor for the discipline and hard work required of every athlete to "carve" their own path to success.
- The Motif: Architectural elements such as sacred steps and grape vines were woven into the design, mirroring the steady, disciplined climb of a football team toward the championship.

The Zenith: The Hashemite Star
At the trophy’s peak, the design transitions into modern Jordan. The crown of the piece is the Seven-Pointed Star, the iconic symbol of the Hashemite Kingdom. This star represents a beautiful intersection of Jordan's identity:
- Spirituality: The significance of the number seven in Arab-Islamic culture.
- Geography: A tribute to the seven hills of Amman, our vibrant capital.
- Unity: The central star of the Jordanian flag, reminding every player that their efforts on the pitch are a continuation of a grand historical narrative.
Craftsmanship & Materiality
To manifest the dreams of every Jordanian player, the trophy is forged from a bespoke high-grade alloy and plated in 24k pure gold. The finish is a balance of precision-engineered lines and organic curves, ensuring that when the winning captain raises the trophy, they aren't just holding a prize—they are holding the history of a nation.

“This trophy is more than a reward for a season; it is a testament to countless  centuries of civilization, eighty years of footballing excellence, and an eternal future of ambition.”
